Microphoto located in Roseville, MI is looking to add a Quality Control Inspector/Engineer. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves conducting thorough inspections and tests on materials and finished products, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to develop and refine quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Additionally, the role requires the documentation of inspection results and the preparation of reports to communicate findings to management. Ultimately, this position is vital in maintaining the integrity of Micropho's products and fostering customer trust and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a CNC/Stamping metal manufacturing industry required.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools.
• Experience with measuring equipment, mics, calipers, etc required.
• Experience completing FAI Reports, PPAP documents, and gauge calibration required.
• Strong mathematics skills and an understanding of geometry are required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and present them to management for review and action.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure that all quality control practices are compliant.
