Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 18, 2025 – November 7, 2025)
• Location: Novi, MI 48374 – Michigan healthcare jobs
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Unit
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Hours per Week: 40 (5x8 hour days)
• On-Call: Yes
• Overtime: May be required

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including neurological case experience
• Experience in a comprehensive stroke facility preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)
• Preferred: Experience in vascular radiography
• Strong sterile technique skills and ability to assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment and Cerner EMR

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile environments for interventional radiology procedures
• Prep patients and assist physicians during diagnostic and invasive procedures, including scrubbing in as needed
• Perform all 3D imaging and ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS
• Review clinical data, analyze anatomical structures, and set up equipment following protocols
• Administer prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Perform quality assurance procedures and complete all required documentation in the medical record and radiology information system
• Assist with training of new personnel or students as assigned
• Utilize independent judgment in imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices
• Maintain adequate supplies and ensure proper storage
