Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Elevate student communication skills in an engaging educational setting as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to split your expertise between two elementary schools near Lake Orion, supporting both the Lynch and Schickler campuses as an essential overflow specialist. With established SLPs already on site, you’ll collaborate closely, supplementing speech therapy services and ensuring each child receives the attention they need.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students, as guided by IEPs and school policies
• Collaborate with existing full-time and part-time SLPs to provide comprehensive service delivery
• Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and interventions
• Support and educate staff and families on best practices in communication development
• Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team goals

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week; school hours from 8:44am to 3:40pm
• Academic-year contract: August 18, 2026 – June 11, 2027
• Serve two nearby elementary schools; minimal travel during working hours
