Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will be integral to the production line operations for a new ramp-up with a leading automotive company. Your role will involve assembling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring quality inspection of parts before they are shipped out. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.
• Lift and inspect parts before packaging them for shipment.
• Assemble components as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of recent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Visual inspection experience to identify defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.
• Longevity in previous roles, with 8 months or longer at the past three jobs.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment that is undergoing improvements for a cleaner workspace. Join a tight-knit team of six, where you'll oversee operations. The role requires wearing work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face protection. The shift runs from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
