Your Valued Contributions: The Senior Human Resources Generalist performs a variety of complex human resources duties on a professional level, partnering closely with senior HR management and various managers across AHC, in supporting HR processes and department-specific strategies. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance. This position serves as a coach and mentor for other HR team members.- Employee Relations:
- Provides counsel and support to managers/supervisors on issues of company/HR policy application, production operation Human Resource needs and provides HR services to team members.
- Conduct ER investigations. Works to resolve employee relations issues. Investigates, counsels and assists in resolving disputes.
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Oversees and deepens managers’ skills in the recruitment process, including job scoping, posting, applicant assessments, interviews, and selection.
- Coordinates preparations, delivers orientation, and supports managers to establish and implement a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including review and enhancement of department training programs
- Performance Management:
- Review and track performance reviews and issues and any concerning issues.
- Assist with the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and providing feedback to managers/supervisors.
- Training and Development:
- Support the creation of professional development initiatives.
- Support the strategy for continuous, ongoing training and development that extends beyond the initial onboarding period, supporting employees throughout their entire tenure at a company.
- Compensation:
- Provide Finance/Payroll with HR information to ensure the accurate and timely payment of wages and bonuses.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist with development of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- HR Administration:
- Serve as System administrator for HRIS system.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, and managing HRIS data.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems.
- Employee Engagement:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, surveys, and events to foster a positive work culture.

- Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Possesses the ability to secure transportation to allow for reliable and timely work attendance, including when business is required to be conducted at sites other than your primary worksite.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field: Required (combination of relevant work experience and education considered).
- Four to six years progressive Human Resource professional experience. Training in Federal, state laws and application of HR policy and positive employee relations.
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification a plus.
