Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and analyze biological specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform a wide range of tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and urinalysis.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments, ensuring calibration and functionality.
- Verify and report test results with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards (CLIA, OSHA, CAP, etc.).
- Maintain quality control logs and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and equipment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on travel assignments in varied settings.
