We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to manage and streamline the permitting and inspection process for our projects. The ideal candidate will serve as the key liaison between our company, local jurisdictions, inspectors, and project teams to ensure that all permits are obtained in a timely manner and that inspections are scheduled and completed efficiently.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with various city, county, and state jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and schedule mechanical inspections.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for building departments and inspectors.
- Monitor the status of permits and proactively resolve issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all permits, inspection reports, and related correspondence.
- Communicate permit and inspection updates to internal schedulers and superintendents
Knowledge and Skills:
- Customer services or sales experience Hearth Industry, Permit experience, or relatable industry.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Communication and listening skills
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Schedule
- Typical workdays are Monday-Friday
