Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-8 school in Warren, MI, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full school year contract. This position offers virtual part-time hours, providing flexibility while supporting student success. The role focuses on conducting initial and re-evaluations and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students in grades K-8
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP and MET meetings
- Provide psychological assessments and recommendations to support student learning and development
- Assist with developing and implementing intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working with K-8 student populations
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work virtually and manage time effectively in a part-time setting
