Advanced Manufacturing Engineer — CNC & APQP Lead

What you’ll lead

• Build standardized procedures and documentation that drive consistent quality at the lowest total cost.
• Guide capital equipment planning and implementation with strong technical rationale.
• Engineer and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling for current production and new launches.
• Lead APQP teams and continuous improvement guided by the Project Launch Guide and Autocam Production System (APS).
• Keep process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards accurate and current.
• Generate quotes for new parts and refresh existing customer quotes.
• Train operators on machine operation, SPC, reading technical documentation, and process improvement techniques.
• Read complex drawings and apply GD&T to ensure capability and efficiency.
• Maintain conformance with QMS and EMS expectations.

What you bring

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical training with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Problem-solving acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Skill with technical documentation, cost estimation, and manufacturing software platforms.
• Clear, concise communication and comfort with complex technical material.
• Experience in APQP, GD&T, and lean manufacturing methodologies.

Where you’ll work

• Flexible schedule averaging around 50 hours per week.
• Office and manufacturing floor environments with exposure to noise and oil.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; tasks may require both close and distance vision.
