Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations, detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper clamping and tooling.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or adjust offsets as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating, setting up, and programming (editing) CNC milling and/or turning machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and various material properties.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues.
• Adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 5-axis machining or exotic materials (e.g., titanium, Inconel).
