Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze manufacturing data using statistical process control (SPC) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and disposition of non-conforming material.
• Participate in new product development (NPD) to ensure quality requirements are integrated into design and production.
• Perform internal and supplier quality audits to verify compliance with standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
• Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
