Job Overview

This is a full-time position based at our office in Warren, Michigan, United States . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our daily activities. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $28 - $38 USD per hour .

Responsibilities

* Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing.
* Manage and maintain both electronic and hard-copy filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible.
* Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner, handling enquiries and routing calls to the appropriate personnel.
* Enter data accurately into company databases and maintain up-to-date records, including shipping and receiving information.
* Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, presentations, and correspondence.
* Provide administrative support to the wider team, assisting with projects and tasks as required.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers.
* Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and placing orders when necessary.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role.
* Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Experience within the logistics or transport industry is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
