Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and disassembly of engines for Automotive Companies. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for tasks such as taking components off engines, applying coolant, and performing leak tests. If you join us as a Material Handler, you'll operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to efficiently move engines in a fast-paced warehousing and shipping environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble engines
• Perform tasks such as applying coolant and conducting leak tests.
• Operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to transport engines.
• Ensure efficient shipping

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a Production/Warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of Machine Operation and/or Forklift/Hi-Lo experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to submit to pre-employment screening and drug testing.
• Must own steel toe shoes or boots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and assembly.
• Knowledge of machine operation and material handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.25/hr.
