The Role
We are seeking an Associate Account Executive to join our North American sales team. This role is focused on selling technical services to renewable energy asset owners. You will work hand in hand with the North American sales team to develop new business opportunities as well as own sales responsibilities with existing accounts. You will be responsible for leading the full sales cycle, from opportunity development through negotiation and close, with a focus on high-value recurring revenue solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, a desire to learn, and a knack for building relationships with clients. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future while developing your sales career in the growing wind and solar energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients to promote our wind turbine inspection services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure customer outcomes are delivered and upsell opportunities are unlocked.
- Accurately forecast revenue, manage pipeline, and consistently deliver against bookings targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Industry Experience (preferred):
- Wind / solar energy technology familiarity or experience or
- Industrial technology/asset management sales experience, or
- Commercial drone inspection experience
- Wind / solar energy technology familiarity or experience or
- Experience selling into large, complex industrial enterprises or utilities is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with international teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM is a plus
- Ability to travel across North America (10–20%).
