Big Red's Fireworks and Gifts is looking for an energetic, creative, and self-motivated Social Media Marketing Manager to help grow our brand, engage our community, and showcase one of Northern Michigan's most unique shopping destinations.

Responsibilities:

Create and schedule engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

Take photos and videos of products, events, promotions, and store activities.

Develop creative posts, reels, stories, and advertisements that increase customer engagement.

Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Promote seasonal events, grand openings, special sales, and community activities.

Monitor social media trends and recommend new marketing ideas.

Track performance metrics and provide reports on growth, reach, and engagement.

Assist with creating promotional flyers, contests, giveaways, and customer appreciation campaigns.

Help maintain a consistent brand image featuring Big Red and Bigfoot across all marketing channels.

Qualifications:

Experience managing business social media accounts.

Strong written communication and customer service skills.

Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and social media advertising.

Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.

Ability to take quality photos and videos using a smartphone or camera.

Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with retail, tourism, gift shops, or seasonal businesses.

Familiarity with social media analytics and advertising campaigns.

Experience creating short-form video content and reels.

Position Details:

Flexible schedule.
