Trucking Dispatcher

- Dispatch drivers for on-time pickup and delivery of freight
- Monitor routes, locations, and delivery performance
- Communicate clearly and consistently with drivers, customers, and management
- Respond quickly to service issues, delays, or operational changes
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation
- Follow established procedures and operational standards
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dispatch or logistics experience preferred
- Working knowledge of trucking operations and DOT regulations
- Comfortable working with direct oversight and frequent communication
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities independently
- Monday–Friday: Noon – 8:00 PM
- One weekend per month (usually during morning hours)
- Occasional, miscellaneous phone availability
- Performs well in a structured, detail-oriented environment
- Accepts feedback professionally and applies it quickly
- Communicates proactively and follows through on tasks
- Stays calm and focused under pressure
