Facilities Manager | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance for production equipment and building infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental (HSE) regulations, and building codes.
- Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling operational costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services such as cleaning, security, waste management, and specialized equipment maintenance.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and space reconfigurations to support manufacturing operations and efficiency.
- Implement and monitor energy management programs to reduce utility consumption and promote sustainability within the plant.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of facilities technicians and support staff.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Thorough understanding of relevant safety, environmental (e.g., OSHA, EPA), and building codes.
- Proven experience with project management, budget oversight, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementation or optimization.
- Background in energy management, sustainability initiatives, or LEED certification.
- Experience managing facilities in highly regulated environments (e.g., GMP, ISO 9001, FDA).
