Chassis & Diesel Mechanic – Savannah, GA
Starting Pay: $24.00/hour+ (based on experience)
We are hiring a motivated Chassis & Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Savannah, GA . We're looking for someone with mechanical experience and a strong work ethic who’s ready to grow with us. You'll work on intermodal chassis and diesel engines—handling maintenance, fueling, inspections, and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- -Perform routine maintenance and repairs
- -Fuel equipment and assist with daily yard operations
- -Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
- -Support DOT inspections and document completed work
- -Work safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- -Mechanical experience or aptitude (diesel/chassis )
- -Willingness to learn and follow directions
- -Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in outdoor environments
- -Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- -Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- -Basic computer skills
Pay:
Starting at $24.00/hour , depending on experience
