A growing commercial contractor based in Southeast Michigan is looking to bring on a sharp Project Engineer to support their expanding pipeline across light industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. Package details:

• Base salary range: $70,000–$90,000 based on market
• Bonus potential: Performance-based

Job Details

Roles, responsibilities, and desired qualifications:

• Assist Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Support document control, scheduling, and coordination with field teams
• Help manage subcontractor communications and track progress
• Attend project meetings and maintain project logs and records
• Learn from experienced PMs and superintendents to grow your skill set

Ideal candidate background:

• 1–3 years of experience with a commercial GC (internships count!)
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar is a plus
