Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Light Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. The role involves assembling interior injection molded products using small plastic pieces. You will work in a collaborative work cell environment alongside 3-4 assembly stations, and your performance will be evaluated based on piece rate, ranging from 200 to 400 pieces per shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small plastic parts into larger components.
• Work collaboratively in a team of 3-4 assembly stations.
• Ensure each completed item is placed into the designated bin.
• Meet and maintain the expected piece rate performance metrics.

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with injection molding processes

• Experience in high volume assembly
• Machine operating experience

Work in a structured manufacturing setting with multiple assembly stations. This role requires a 50-hour work week, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.81 - $18.70/hr.
