Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a collaborative team.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun01:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site expectations and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and customer-facing support while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
