Behavioral Health Technician (Backfill)

- Location: Primarily based in our Dearborn center, with occasional regional coverage as needed.
- Provide comprehensive patient care: Administer TMS and esketamine treatments following clinical guidelines, meticulously monitor patient responses, administer and record psychiatric rating scales, and proactively address patient discomfort.
- Ensure patient well-being and accurate record-keeping: Deliver empathetic and supportive care, maintain accurate EHR, and manage patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and financial procedures.
- Support operational efficiency: Understand and assist with insurance and billing processes as needed.
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, Medical Assistant certification, or equivalent clinical certification, coupled with significant relevant work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field; and at least one year of healthcare work experience (not mandatory).
- Technical & Clinical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (AdvancedMD and SalesForce preferred). Strong clinical interviewing skills. Knowledge of insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines (a plus).
- Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided).
