HR Manager - Whitehall Area

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled HR Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, technical, and administrative roles.
- Oversee employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and industry regulations.
- Administer performance management programs, including reviews, goal setting, and professional development.
- Coordinate and facilitate mandatory safety training and operational skills development programs.
- Manage compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive practices for all employees.
- Support the health and safety committee, ensuring HR compliance with plant safety protocols.
- Conduct workforce planning to address staffing needs and skill gaps within the manufacturing facility.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and EHS regulations relevant to manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and talent acquisition for diverse workforces.
- Ability to strategically partner with plant leadership to drive HR initiatives that support operational goals.
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs specific to a production environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their HR implications.
- Demonstrated success in promoting a strong safety culture in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces.
