Die Reconditioning Machinist

How You’ll Contribute
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify wear, damage, and performance gaps.
- Perform end-to-end die reconditioning using welding, grinding, and machining.
- Create precise documentation of all maintenance and repair work.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with production to reduce downtime and elevate die performance.
- Model safe work practices and maintain an orderly, well-maintained shop area.
- Assist with die design refinements and modifications for better efficiency and function.
- Continuously learn and apply new die repair methods and tooling advances.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.
- Background in die repair or a closely related machining/tooling role.
- Strong command of die repair techniques and toolroom practices.
- Comfort operating lathes, mills, and grinders with precision.
- Exceptional problem-solving and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Clear communication and a safety-first approach.
