Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Resident Care

• Oversee all nursing services to ensure safe, effective,
  and compassionate resident care



• Ensure proper assessment, care planning,
  implementation, and evaluation of resident care



• Monitor resident outcomes and address quality-of-care
  concerns



• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other
  healthcare professionals

Leadership & Staff
Management

• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs,
  and nurse managers)



• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing
  staff



• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work
  environment



• Address staff performance issues and conduct
  disciplinary actions when necessary

Regulatory Compliance &
Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local
  regulations (e.g., CMS, state health departments)



• Prepare for and participate in surveys, inspections,
  and audits



• Develop and implement policies and procedures
  consistent with regulations



• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement
  (QAPI) initiatives

Administrative &
Operational Duties

• Develop and manage nursing department budgets



• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient use of
  resources



• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation



• Participate in facility leadership meetings and
  strategic planning

Education & Staff
Development

• Ensure ongoing education, training, and competency
  evaluations for nursing staff



• Stay current with best practices in long-term care
  nursing



• Promote infection control, safety, and risk management
  programs

Requirements

• 3-5 years Nursing experience - [REQUIRED]
• Prior Leadership or management experience in LTC [PREFERRED]
• Associate Degree in Nursing - [REQUIRED]
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing - [PREFERRED]
• CPR certification - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Infection Control Certified - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Experience
  with Matrix - [PREFERRED]
