Title: Vehicle Test Technician

Location: Saline, MI

Duration: Long Term Contract

Pay Rate: $29 per hour on W2

Job Description:

Skills and Duties

· Proficient in the use of two-post vehicle lifts, shop tools, and related shop equipment

· Responsible for collecting and recording incoming weight data for test vehicles

· Prepares crash-test vehicles by properly draining all fluids in accordance with safety protocols

· Applies paint and highlights vehicle underbodies for visibility during high-speed crash test videography

· Follows detailed check sheets to ensure all test preparation steps are completed accurately

· Performs routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment to ensure functionality

· Compiles test data and assist in preparing technical reports and documentation

· Maintains clean and organized 5S work area and adheres to lab safety standards

· Ensures a safe working environment by following all lab rules, procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements:

Requirements and Qualifications

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook (email/calendar), Word, and PowerPoint

· Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create charts, graphs, and perform data analysis

· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team setting

· Flexible availability including willingness to travel, work overtime, and weekends as needed

· Eagerness to learn new processes, reflect on performance, and contribute to team success
