Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support for K-12 students within a school setting. The position is based in Dearborn, MI, and follows a contract arrangement for the non-school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Adapt general education curriculum to acmodate students' diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
• Utilize specialized instructional techniques and assistive technologies to support student engagement and success.
• Maintain pliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to special education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching K-12 students with a range of disabilities.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and modify instructional strategies.
• Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices.
