Join our team at Vibrant Life Senior Living - Durand as a 2nd shift Med Tech/Med Passer. In this role, you will provide essential medication administration and support to our residents, ensuring their health and wellness during the evening hours. You will work closely with nursing staff and other team members to maintain a safe and caring environment.
Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents accurately and safely according to established protocols.
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report any concerns promptly.
- Document medication administration and maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist with resident care as directed by nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to medication administration and resident safety.
- Previous experience as a Medication Technician or Med Passer preferred.
- Current state certification or licensure as required.
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours reliably.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
