Warehouse Supervisor – Wixom , MI

PrideStaff is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for manufacturing and distribution facility in Wixom ,MI . This role is critical to maintaining the flow of our supply chain, ensuring that safety standards are met, and leading a team to hit daily production and shipping targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including material handlers and shipping/receiving clerks.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily activities including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce all OSHA and internal safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the warehouse workflow and implement Lean or 5S strategies to improve throughput.
• Equipment Oversight: Ensure all forklifts and warehouse machinery are maintained and operated safely.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Leadership Style: Proven ability to motivate a diverse team and handle conflict resolution professionally.
• Logistics Knowledge: Solid understanding of LTL/TL shipping, bill of lading (BOL) documentation, and freight scheduling.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
