We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on high-quality installation and finish carpentry, with additional responsibilities in job planning, inventory, and tool maintenance. Most of the work will be done independently but will still require team collaboration for large installations and truck loads.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Finish Carpentry (55%)

• Install and weather-seal exterior doors to code.
• Hang interior doors and upgrade existing frames.
• Assemble and install custom closets and organizers.
• Install trim, crown molding, and baseboards with paint-ready finishes.

2. Field Measuring & Job Planning (15%)

• Measure job sites, verify openings, and document in CompanyCam/Zoho.
• Identify and report discrepancies before installation.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Operations (20–25%)

• Prepare and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
• Receive and inspect shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse.

4. Tool & Vehicle Maintenance (as needed)

• Clean and restock work van.
• Calibrate tools and report maintenance needs.

• Strong communicator and team player
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience in trim carpentry or door/closet installation
• Proficient with hand/power tools and reading CAD/3D drawings
• Familiar with IBC, ADA, NFPA 80, and moisture control best practices
• Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and working year-round
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to obtain OSHA-10 within 60 days
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
