Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to support cross-functional technology initiatives within our organization. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery by gathering, documenting, and translating requirements into actionable technical solutions, with a focus on enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Azure, and SQL Server-based BI systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in both technical systems and business process analysis, with the ability to effectively liaise between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors. This role will also involve helping to optimize SharePoint Online for document management, collaboration, and records governance. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, user stories, workflows, and wireframes where appropriate. Analyze and map requirements to existing enterprise systems, such as: o CRM Dynamics 365 (customer/stakeholder management) o SharePoint Online (document and content management) o SQL Server / Power BI (reporting, analytics, data structures) Support SharePoint configuration efforts by: o Designing scalable and maintainable site structures, libraries, metadata, and permissions. o Advising on best practices for collaboration setup, access control policies, and group-based permissions. o Developing guidance and documentation for business users on site usage and document lifecycle management. Coordinate with IT developers, architects, and vendors to clarify solution designs and validate implementation approaches. Assist in evaluating and recommending technical solutions and enhancements based on requirements. Support testing efforts by helping define test cases and participating in UAT coordination. Document process flows, configuration decisions, and knowledge base materials to support system sustainment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst role. Hands-on familiarity with two of the following: o Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, or Case Management modules) o SharePoint Online (site creation, metadata tagging, content structures) o SQL Server and Power BI (data modeling, querying, reporting) Proven experience configuring and managing SharePoint Online in a medium or small organizational context, including: o Structuring sites/libraries for ease of use and collaboration. o Managing permissions using security groups and role-based access control. o Implementing document retention policies, compliance labels, and governance workflows. Strong understanding of systems integration and end-to-end business process mapping. Excellent documentation skills (use cases, process maps, BRDs, FRDs). Strong communication and facilitation skills for cross-team collaboration. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in public sector, pension, or financial services environments. Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft 365, or hybrid enterprise environments. Knowledge of compliance or security requirements related to identity management or data retention. ________________________________________ Engagement Details: Contract duration: (e.g., 6-12 months), with possible extension. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
