Accounts Payable Coordinator
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in East Lansing, MI. Duties:
- Support the Accounts Payable Supervisor with day-to-day activities, including people management, issue resolution, and regular status updates
- Assist Coordinator I's with more complex invoicing and reconciliations
- Access administration: add new users and remove terminated users
- Maintain the delegation of authority within the system
- Maintain GL coding
- Develop and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and training; Ensure documents are up to date and reflect best practice
- Investigate and resolve resolutions with virtual vendor payments
- Research and reconcile Unvouchered Receipts and Vendor Prepayments each month to ensure timely resolution with other departments and implement new processes when necessary
- High School diploma/GED with related accounting experience, preferably with emphasis on Accounts Payable
- Accounting degree a plus
