Operations manager
Summary:
Join the Reality Labs Entertainment Team as a Live Operations Platform Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of immersive media experiences at Meta. As part of the team driving innovation across Meta's Horizon ecosystem, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing video-on-demand (VOD) content operations and supporting live event workflows on our cutting-edge media platforms.In this role, you will leverage your expertise in content management, quality assurance, and live operations to ensure seamless content delivery and platform reliability. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Content Moderation, QA, and Policy teams to enhance operational workflows and support the launch of new features and live events. Your operational insights will directly influence the evolution of our immersive social platforms, helping to deliver high-quality, compliant, and engaging experiences to our global community.
Required Skills:
Live Operations Platform Manager Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end VOD content operations, including asset intake, scheduling, and platform uploads
Coordinate content quality assurance and moderation pipelines to ensure compliance with Meta's policies and standards
Monitor and resolve content performance and functionality issues pre- and post-launch
Support Live Operations by assisting with live event monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident communication
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, content moderation, QA, and policy teams to optimize workflows and platform enhancements
Contribute operational insights and support initiatives across Meta's broader Horizon ecosystem
Document processes, maintain operational playbooks, and mentor team members
Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in media operations, content management, or content moderation at scale, within a tech or media environment
Demonstrated managing VOD and live content workflows, including asset ingestion, quality assurance, and deployment
Technical aptitude with internal tools and platforms, including troubleshooting operational issues
Proven communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with cross functional teams
Experience prioritizing effectively and adapting in an ambiguous environment
Experience being proactive with a solutions-oriented approach

Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for streaming and video content
Demonstrated analytical skills and experience documenting operational processes
Experience contributing to or supporting live streaming event operations
Public Compensation:
$94,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
