Membership Representative

About the role
HealthFitness is looking for a full-time Membership Sales Representative to join our team at our client site in Rochester Hills this role you will drive new membership sales and membership retention through excellent customer service relationship building and continued process improvement. The ideal candidate is self-driven well-organized and possesses excellent communication skills.
Schedule: 30 hours per week Shifts will vary weekdays between 9am-7pm and occasional weekends from 9am-4pm
Key point of contact for the community and members at the clients Health and Wellness Center. Responsible for providing assistance and service to clients by answering requests process and provide information on membership accounts and services offered.Key Accountabilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members via face-to-face service phone text and email communication. Building lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
Meeting sales goals and generating leads through prospect networking and member referrals.
Promoting and attending facility social events.
Serving as facility ambassador to local businesses corporations and community members.
May provide leadership presence on the floor to assist with issues that may arise and provide coverage when manager isnt available.
Conduct tours of the facility and assist members with account changes and requests.
Other duties as needed/assigned
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
Adult CPR/AED/FA certification from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
1-2 years previous sales experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated and communicates effectively.
Passionate about helping others improve the quality of their lives.
Able and willing to listen to feedback and apply it moving forward.
Preferred:
Associates degree or relevant work experience.
