NOW HIRING: PAINT & FINAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

$20–$32/hr | Based on Experience | Central Michigan

We’re a family-owned truck upfitting shop. We build hooklifts, roll-offs, garbage trucks, dump trucks, and service bodies — and when everything else is done, your work is what the customer actually sees.

This isn’t a production line. Every truck is a little different, and at the end of the day you can step back and look at something that’s built to last and finished right.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Prepping and painting truck bodies and equipment — surface prep, priming, topcoats, touch-up, and finish work. You’ll also handle final assembly: installing lights, decals, hardware, and accessories, doing walk-around inspections, and making sure every unit leaves the shop looking sharp and ready to work.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Paint experience in automotive, fleet, industrial, or heavy equipment is a plus — but if you’re detail-oriented, take pride in your finish work, and are willing to learn our process, we want to talk. What matters most is that you show up, care about quality, and finish what you start.

✔ Experience with spray application (primer, topcoat, touch-up)

✔ Comfortable with surface prep — grinding, sanding, masking

✔ Familiarity with lights, wiring, or truck accessories is a bonus

✔ Own tools preferred

✔ Valid driver’s license

✔ Can work independently and meet a schedule

✔ Not afraid to climb, crouch, or work around big equipment
