Commercial Construction Superintendent
Our client is a Michigan-based commercial construction company with over 75 years in business, looking to add a Superintendent to their growing team.
Responsibilities
Working directly with a Project Manager, the Superintendent leads the daily construction activities of all trade contractors. Responsible for safety, quality, timely delivery, and prompt closeout, the ideal candidate will have a superior command of the construction process in operating jobs, a proven track record of successful and on-time completion of such projects, and solid planning, scheduling, and communication skills.

Commercial, Energy, Municipal Infrastructure, Water & Wastewater, Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, Industrial, K-12 Education, Retail & Mixed-Use, Science, Tech, & Research, and Sports & Recreation
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on various projects,
- Experience on jobs ranging from $10m - $300m
- Commercial experience in Wastewater, K12, Higher Education, Healthcare, etc. a plus
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Ability to establish rapport in the field to ensure continuous and safety-focused progress toward project goals.
- Ability to be a practical, and thoughtful problem solver, who works well with trade contractors and keeps them engaged in the project quality, schedule, and budget.
