Responsibilities

• Assemble pallets using an air-compressed nail gun, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment according to specifications and schematics
• Inspect completed pallets for structural integrity, ensuring they meet safety standards and load-bearing requirements
• Use blueprint reading skills to interpret design plans for custom or specialized pallet construction
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished pallets to facilitate efficient workflow on the manufacturing floor
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Assist with repairs or modifications of existing pallets, including rebar installation or siding as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality control throughout the process

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or construction environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques used in pallet assembly or woodworking
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings related to construction or manufacturing projects
• Experience working on construction sites or in restoration industries is a plus but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic understanding of construction estimating, framing carpentry, or masonry can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and safety awareness
