Automotive Technician
Gordie's Auto & Tire is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our bustling shop, known for its great culture and competitive compensation plan! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals. You'll enjoy working in a busy shop that fosters teamwork and promotes a positive workplace atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs on a variety of makes and models.
 - Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
 - Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
 - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuous training opportunities.
 - Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols.
 
Requirements
- ASE certification is preferred; relevant experience in an automotive repair environment is required.
 - Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
 - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
 - Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
 - Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
 - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
 - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
