Summary
As a Veterinarian at Greenfield Animal Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional veterinary care to our patients. Located in a supportive environment, this position is crucial for maintaining the health and well-being of pets while fostering strong relationships with their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care to maintain pet health.
- Ideally, but not required, perform surgical procedures and manage post-operative care.
- Provide emergency treatment and critical care as needed.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and treatments.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical conditions.
- Experience in surgical procedures and veterinary critical care is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate approach towards animal welfare and client service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $122,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
