Summary

As a Veterinarian at Greenfield Animal Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional veterinary care to our patients. Located in a supportive environment, this position is crucial for maintaining the health and well-being of pets while fostering strong relationships with their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
• Administer vaccinations and preventive care to maintain pet health.
• Ideally, but not required, perform surgical procedures and manage post-operative care.
• Provide emergency treatment and critical care as needed.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and treatments.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical conditions.
• Experience in surgical procedures and veterinary critical care is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate approach towards animal welfare and client service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $122,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
