  • Measure and mark materials using a tape measure and other layout tools to ensure precise cuts and installations.
  • Install drywall and related systems as needed, coordinating with other trades and maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with crews ranging from 5 to 30 people, coordinating tasks and communicating effectively with supervisors and teammates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all site safety requirements and procedures.
  • Report progress, issues, and material needs to on-site supervision to keep work on schedule and within scope.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Proficient use of hand tools and power tools, including saws, drills, and fastening tools.
  • Competence in rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and trim work.
  • Experience with metal studs and metal framing in new construction environments.
  • Ability to accurately measure and lay out work using a tape measure and other layout tools.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work 40–60 hours per week, including overtime as needed.
  • Ability to bring and use personal steel-toed boots on site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Safety certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Experience with drywall installation and related finishing work.
  • Experience in both new construction and large-scale commercial projects.
  • Comfort working in crews of varying sizes and following direction from on-site supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Why Work Here?

You will join a high-profile, large-scale project that offers consistent hours, significant overtime opportunities, and a daily per diem when working away from home. The environment supports skilled tradespeople with steady work, clear schedules, and the chance to contribute to a major data center build. The schedule typically ranges from 40 to 60 hours per week, with Sundays off, and offers significant overtime. You will report to on-site supervision and coordinate closely with other carpenters and trades. The work involves extensive use of hand tools and power tools, working with concrete form systems, metal and wood framing, and temporary protection structures. Conditions are those of a large outdoor and partially enclosed jobsite, with varying weather and typical construction site noise and activity.
