We are seeking a Program Coordinator in Jackson, MI to support the delivery of educational programs that teach students financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and implementing programs, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring a positive learning experience for students.

Program Coordinator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm )

• Assure program quality through developing relationships with educators and volunteers.
• Oversees the implementation of programs in schools - and after school programs.
• Provide all program support including recruiting and training volunteers.
• Maintain database information on all programs and participants.
• Prepare materials and schedule volunteer orientations. In person and on-line training.
• Maintain Program material inventory and identify needs for ordering.
• Establish working relationships with schools, business and volunteer resources
• Provide new volunteer training, volunteer / teacher start-ups and service calls.
• Provide telephone and email communication to volunteers, teachers and community members
• Maintain teacher and consultant registrations and confirmations
• Enter, file and maintain all data for program projects and events.
• Coordinate job shadowing experiences for high school students.
• Greet visitors and answer phones providing great customer service
• Social Media Marketing

Program Coordinator Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Access and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines.
