Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure for manufacturing operations, including servers, networks, and workstations.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP integration) and shop floor hardware.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical production systems and data.
• Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for manufacturing environments.
• Administer network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity for production equipment and factory automation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Demonstrated experience supporting industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, and PLC connectivity in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and industrial networking best practices.
• Experience implementing and managing cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, and data backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues, with a focus on minimizing production downtime.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, Historians).
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or ERP platforms used in production environments.
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity principles and practices relevant to industrial control systems.
• Experience with specific manufacturing software applications (e.g., CAD/CAM, Quality Management Systems).
