Position Overview
Leadlight Counseling’s Cascade office is seeking a fully licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This clinician will provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in a warm, creative, and trauma-informed setting designed to help kids and parents feel seen, heard, and supported.
Our Cascade office offers a vibrant environment with access to fully outfitted play therapy rooms, expressive arts materials, and a resource library to support therapeutic creativity. This position is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with children ages 3–18, and who enjoys blending evidence-based interventions including play, art, and relationship-centered approaches.
Therapists in this role work as part of a collaborative community of fellow child and adolescent therapists with access to ongoing case consultation, peer support, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Full clinical licensure in the State of Michigan (LPC or LMSW required)
- Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families
- Strong working knowledge of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices
- Experience or interest in working with neurodiversity, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, strongly preferred
- Experience or interest in play therapy, sandtray, or art-based interventions
- Ability to engage parents and caregivers as partners in treatment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth, self-reflection, and cultural humility
