The Sales & Account Manager at Lakeside Pro Services is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and nurturing existing client relationships while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role blends sales, customer service, and strategic account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and business expansion.
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across service sectors
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Create and present compelling proposals and presentations
- Negotiate contracts to ensure client satisfaction and profitability
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, design, maintenance) to deliver exceptional service
- Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to identify upsell opportunities
Customer Service
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and issues
- Provide expert recommendations on irrigation, construction, and landscaping solutions
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention
Project Oversight
- Collaborate with operations managers and field teams to execute projects on time and within budget
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed to meet changing client or project requirements
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Reporting & Administration
- Complete weekly reporting
- Participate in 1:1 meetings, team huddles, and planning sessions
- Manage calendars, schedules, and communication timelines efficiently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel locally and attend on-site visits as needed
- Must be able to work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and account management (preferably in irrigation, construction, or landscaping)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (ServiceTitan preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- Familiarity with industry-specific practices and terminology
Communication & Meetings
- Weekly reports
- Weekly or biweekly 1:1 meetings with the Sales Manager (L10 format)
- Participation in team huddles
- Effective management of time, calendars, and follow-through on commitments

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
