Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while building your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Two exciting contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals interested in working in a vibrant educational setting near Harbor Beach, MI.

Position #1 offers the chance to provide vital speech services in two Early Childhood Special Education classrooms. You’ll work closely with a small but growing caseload, starting with approximately 20 students and expanding to around 35 as the year progresses. Many students on this caseload have significant communication needs and rely on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, offering a rewarding opportunity for SLPs passionate about innovative solutions and teamwork.

Position #2 focuses on conducting Early On evaluations and providing targeted speech services to preschool-aged children. This role combines assessment expertise with ongoing therapeutic support for a caseload of about 20 students, alongside performing Early On evaluations as required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or eligibility for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
• Familiarity with AAC devices and interventions (for Position #1)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions
• Conduct evaluations and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Document services and maintain compliance with policies and timelines
• Adjust therapy plans based on student progress
