ICAT Logistics Detroit is taking over the logistics industry and we're looking for the best sales professionals in the business. At ICAT Logistics Detroit, we look for teammates who like to tackle challenges with creative solutions to our customers' problems.

A successful salesperson will be responsible for the following:

• lead generation: identifying potential customers by researching industries and markets;
• managing client relationships: building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers;
• designing solutions: collaborating with our operations team to design customized freight forwarding solutions that meet the specific requirements of our customers;
• delivering professional presentations: creating and delivering persuasive and professional proposals that clearly communicate the benefits and value of our services to prospective customers;
• closing deals: closing opportunies with customers;
• reporting: accurately recording sales activities and customer interactions using ICAT Logistics Detroit's CRM; and
• collaborating: working closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure our customers' needs are met and issues are resolved.

1. Track record of success in global freight forwarding or logistics sales
2. Strong understanding of the global logistics and supply chain industry
3. Participation in business community and ability to leverage networking opportunities
4. Growth mindset
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6. Ability to work independently, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
