Schedule

Schedule requires supporting Monday – Saturday member service hours.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

In support of the Credit Union's performance excellence initiatives all managers are expected to take ownership of several strategically important responsibilities including:

  • Support the Branch Experience Manager in overseeing daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and achievement of strategic goals.
  • Coach and develop branch staff, fostering a high-performance culture through training, cross-training, and succession planning.
  • Promote a member-first culture by modeling and coaching empathetic service and financial education aligned with DNCU’s mission.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and motivating talent to meet performance and service standards.
  • Monitor branch activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate team meetings and huddles to inspire, inform, and align staff with branch goals and service standards.
  • Participate in marketing and member engagement initiatives to support growth and awareness.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and support contract reviews, cost management, and risk mitigation.
  • Continuously improve branch processes and ensure completion of audits, certifications, and compliance training.

Performance Measurements:

  1. To maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet the needs of members and receive feedback from employees. To maintain a work environment anchored in the creation of a World Class Experience and expanding the influence of Del Norte Pride.
  2. Initiate plans and activities that support the credit union’s mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives.
  3. Develop and implement cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing, and processes by monitoring trends in operations and deposit services.
  4. Promote a cross sales culture based on member education within each Member Experience area of responsibility, both by example and training and coaching employees to identify opportunities.
  5. Foster a climate based on employee development and open communication.

Salary

Starting pay: $57,572.06 – $71,965.08 annually, based on qualifications, internal equity, and budget.

Requirements

Experience

Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education

(1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program.

The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of interpersonal skills are critical to the success of this position. Work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or divisions.

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while operating a computer and other office equipment. Manual dexterity is needed for typing, using a mouse, and handling documents. The role may involve occasional reaching, bending, or manipulating objects, as well as light lifting of up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required for reading documents, creating content, and communicating effectively. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting. The environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise levels and involves regular interactions with team members, vendors, community partners and public. The role requires occasional travel between office or branch locations and may include periodic extended hours to meet project deadlines or support events. Employees may experience occasional exposure to outdoor conditions while traveling or attending events.
