Job Title: Electrical Controls Maintenance Technician
Location: Lake Odessa, Michigan
Salary: $62,000 - $85,000 (Based on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

HireNow Staffing is now hiring an Electrical Controls Maintenance Technician for a leading food and manufacturing facility in Lake Odessa, MI . This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician with a background in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation to join a highly reputable company offering great pay, benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus . What You'll Be Doing:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, control panels, and automation equipment
- Work with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) , VFDs, HMI systems, and SCADA controls
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to urgent electrical breakdowns
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to optimize equipment uptime
- Maintain compliance with plant safety protocols and electrical codes
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams
- Experience with food or packaging equipment is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required, technical training or certifications a plus
