Job Title: Four-Slide Operator / Set-Up Technician

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Four-Slide Operator/Set-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves running and setting up specialized four-slide (multislide) machines used in metal stamping, wire forming, and precision part production. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About Four-Slide Machines:
Four-slide machines are highly specialized metal forming machines that use four tool slides—approaching from the left, right, front, and back—to bend, cut, punch, or form material into complex shapes. These machines are commonly used in the production of clips, springs, brackets, fasteners, and other precision components.

Responsibilities:

As a Four-Slide Operator:

• Load raw strip or wire material into the machine.

• Monitor production runs, ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards.

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Troubleshoot minor issues such as feed adjustments or material jams.

As a Four-Slide Set-Up Technician:

• Install and align slides, cams, punches, and forming tools for specific jobs.

• Program and adjust timing sequences to ensure tools operate in proper synchronization.

• Fine-tune clearances, pressures, and speeds for optimal output.

• Maintain tooling and machine condition to ensure consistent performance.

• Train and support operators as needed.

Summary:
The Operator primarily runs and monitors the machine during production. The Set-Up Technician has advanced responsibility for configuring machines, performing precision adjustments, and ensuring successful job changeovers.
