Insurance Customer Service Representative - Proctor Location: + Troy, MI: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098 + Daytona Beach, FL: 220 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114 Pay Rate: + English: $17/hour + Spanish Bilingual: $18.50/hour Start Date: January 2025 Training Schedule: + First 4 weeks: Fully remote, Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM + Weeks 5-8: Fully onsite for nesting and live calls Post-Training Schedule: + 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM + Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote (based on adherence, quality, and attendance) Responsibilities: + Handle 40-50 inbound calls daily related to new or existing homeowners' claims + Answer questions such as claim status and perform claim intake (calls may last up to an hour) + Provide professional, accurate, and empathetic support + Apply strong problem-solving and resolution skills Requirements: + Minimum 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred; front desk/admin considered) + Proficient in Windows PC navigation and software systems + Typing speed: 35 WPM or higher + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Reliable internet connection for remote work + Reliable transportation for onsite requirements Experience Level: Entry level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
